About: The Pride of Dayton Marching Band will play a static show for approximately 45 minutes. Under the direction of Professor Kenneth Will, Director of the Pride of Dayton Marching Band at the University of Dayton.

Gala Concert: The Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines, Collingwood

When: Friday June 27th, 7:30pm

Where: The Epsom Playhouse (LINK)

About: A charity concert by The Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines, Collingwood, in aid of the Royal Navy Association and the Royal British Legion, Epsom & Ewell Branch. The Band of His Majesty’s Royal Marines Collingwood has a dual role: entertaining and inspiring both troops and civilians; and deploying on RFA Argus as a fully operational military force. They fulfil around 340 ceremonial and concert commitments every year. They have also deployed operationally in every major conflict since the Second World War. Musicians all play two – or more – instruments, giving the band the versatility to perform as in full, or as smaller ensembles from string quartets to naval jazz groups, even rock bands!

The London Tattoo - Doe Den Tap Toe!

When: Saturday June 28th, 6:00pm

Where:  the ICC Capital Auditorium, ExCeL London (LINK)

About: An intimate musical tattoo to celebrate marching bands. 750 musicians from the All-American Collegiate Honour Band, Bournemouth Youth Marching Band, Burgess Hill Marching Youth, Gordon's School Pipes and Drums, Marching Scarlet Knights, Pride of Dayton Marching Band  and The Band of His Majesty's Royal Marines, CTCRM, will celebrate humankind's exploration of space and the 60th anniversary of NASA's Gemini 3 flight.

The Palace Parade Review - In the King's Garden

When: Sunday June 29th, 11:15am

Where: The Great Fountain Garden, Hampton Court Palace (LINK)

About: King William III and Queen Mary II (1689-1702) created the Great Fountain Garden to complement their elegant new baroque palace. This summer, the All-American Collegiate Honour Band, Burgess Hill Marching Youth, Gordon's School Pipes and Drums, Kingston & Malden Scout and Guide Band, Marching Scarlet Knights, Pride of Dayton Marching Band  and Surbiton Royal British Legion Youth Marching Band  will each take part in a Palace Parade Review. The Corps of Drums of His Majesty's Royal Marines, CTCRM, will start the Review.

DrumLine London - The Battle of Flower Pot Gate

When: Sunday June 29th, 1:30pm

Where: The East Front Lawn, Great Fountain Garden, Hampton Court Palace (LINK)

About: A fast paced, knockout style contest of percussion performance. Skill and flair will rule the day as the Drum Lines replace the medieval knights who once competed on the same site. To the victorious Drum Line belong the spoils: the King's Shield!
